Independence.
For SAIG, independence is a direction of travel. We are open about where we come from and where we are heading.
The decision rests with the board
The certification decision is taken by SAIG's board. Assessment delivery and development are outsourced to external parties.
Towards separation of roles
We are working towards a structure in which training partners have no say in certification decisions, and in which board members do not decide on matters in which they have an interest.
SAIG does not sell training
SAIG does not provide training itself and therefore has no stake in pass rates.
Based on certification practices
Scheme, assessment and certification decision are organised in line with international certification practices.
Note. SAIG is set up in line with international certification practices and aims for lasting quality assurance. Formal accreditation is not claimed.
