Use of the certification mark.
The SAIG certification mark, the quality mark, shows that someone holds a valid SAIG certificate. These rules describe who may display the mark, how, which claims are permitted, and what happens in the event of misuse. This keeps the mark reliable and meaningful.

1. The certification mark
SAIG uses one quality mark per certification level. The mark corresponds to a concrete, verifiable certificate:
- Awareness Badge: the entry level.
- SAIG I: Basis (Foundation).
- SAIG II: Practitioner.
- SAIG III: Advanced.
The mark is a trademark of SAIG. Its use is permitted solely in accordance with these rules.
2. Who may display the mark
- The mark may be displayed by the certified person to whom the corresponding certificate was issued, and only for as long as that certificate is valid.
- The mark is personal and non-transferable. An employer or organisation cannot rely on the personal certificate as a whole.
- Recognised training partners display their own partner logo under separate arrangements; they do not use the personal quality mark for themselves.
3. How to use the mark
- Use the mark in the form supplied by SAIG. Do not alter its design, colours or proportions, and do not combine it with other logos into a new emblem.
- Always display the mark at the correct level. Do not display a higher level than the one for which you are certified.
- Make sure your certificate can be checked: where possible refer to the register, or use the registration reference or the QR code of your certificate.
4. Permitted statements
With a valid certificate you may, for example, state: "SAIG-certified · [level]" on a CV, LinkedIn profile, e-mail signature or business card. The statement relates to you as a person and to the level for which you are certified.
5. Not permitted
- Displaying the mark after the certificate has expired or been withdrawn.
- Suggesting that an organisation, product or service is certified; SAIG certifies individuals only.
- Displaying a level other than the one obtained, or creating a misleading impression of the scope of the certification.
- Altering, imitating or misleadingly reproducing the mark.
6. Consequences of misuse
In the event of improper use of the mark, SAIG may withdraw the certificate and remove the person from the active register (the certificate remains verifiable as "withdrawn"). See also the terms and conditions. Where necessary, SAIG may take further measures to counter deception. Suspected misuse by third parties can be reported via the complaints procedure.
7. Verification
Anyone can check a SAIG certificate via the register, using the name and registration reference together or via the QR code on the certificate. This means a displayed mark can always be traced to a valid, current certificate.
