These terms apply to the certification, examination and other services provided by SAIG to candidates, certified persons, training partners and organisations.

1. Definitions
In these terms, SAIG, candidate, certified person, training partner and scheme are understood as further defined in Article [n].
2. Applicability
These terms apply to all applications, examinations and certification decisions of SAIG, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Certification
- Certification takes place on the basis of the applicable SAIG scheme.
- The certification decision is taken independently by the board of SAIG.
- A certificate is personal and non-transferable.
4. Validity and recertification
Certificates are valid for 24 months. Recertification follows the requirements laid down in the scheme.
5. Withdrawal
SAIG may withdraw a certificate in the event of fraud, improper use of the quality mark, or failure to comply with the scheme requirements. A withdrawn certificate remains verifiable as such.
6. Liability
